Metro Center’s getting a new watering hole, reports Washington Business Journal. Proper 21, from the team that brought New York City the sports bars Manhattan Proper and Proper West, is opening at 1319 F. St. NW. It’s taking the spot which previously housed Finemondo (for 12 years) and then Noelia (for just over a year.)

The menus of the two NYC Propers seem to be standard sports bar fare — wings, parmesan truffle fries — while drinks are slight twists on classic cocktails.
