A classic Model T Roadster isn’t usually the showpiece in a bar, but this new Venice hangout seems to make it feel right at home.
The aesthetic makes sense given the area, which houses numerous auto repair garages and custom shops. All the materials and finishings harken back to a weathered, long-ago era, with that Roadster tucked away toward the back of the space. The devil is in the details, with reinforced glass coming from the Sherman Tank factory, stools made with automobile jacks, and back bar elements pieced together by Winter’s decades of collection.
As for drinks, Dodge-White knows imbibers are sick of waiting a long time for fussy cocktails. Instead, they’ll offer a wide list of craft spirits with a heavy emphasis on hard-to-find, lesser known marques. Also, a rotating wine list of that focus on seaside vineyards as well as seven beer taps for brew mavens.
The Lincoln is open nightly from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., and is located on 2536 Lincoln Blvd in Venice.
