Rose’s Luxury

Rose’s Luxury Owner and Head Chef Aaron Silverman serves up a passionate plate at his Barrack’s Row on-point dining haven. Michelin Star dining in a casual atmosphere make this notable DC destination a must for food lovers. Rose’s Luxury made waves in the DC dining scene with a highly regarded menu and coveted tables set to a ‘no reservations’ policy and the long lines became the stuff of legend. To set minds at ease, Rose’s has recently begun accepting same day reservations after 5:30pm. They offer dinner Monday – Saturday 5pm-10pm.

Hank’s Oyster Bar


633 Pennsylvania Ave SE, Washington DC 20003

Chef and restauranteur Jamie Leeds launched the first Hank’s Oyster Bar in 2005 and coined it “Urban Beach Food”. Fast forward a decade and Hank’s (named after her father) can be found on Capitol Hill, Dupont Circle, The Wharf and in Alexandria VA. Jamie Leeds’s philosophy is to bring the neighborhood back into the restaurant and combine fantastic food and personal service in a casual, family-style environment. The Ice Bar serves up an exceptional selection of oysters and ceviche and Hank’s seafood centered menu is rich in freshness and flavor (think lobster bisque, crab cakes, and steamed mussels to name a few). The Capitol Hill location is open for both lunch and dinner, and late-night diners will appreciate their half price raw bar from 9pm-closing. Hank’s Capitol Hill location is serves up lunch and dinner seven days a week.



Cava Mezze

527 8th Street SE, Washington DC 20003

Cava Mezze was founded in 2006 by three friends who were also the children of Greek immigrants. They created Cava with a welcoming atmosphere and a menu of classic Greek and Mediterranean dishes including Spanakopita, Chicken Souvlaki, and Lamb Frites with tzatziki. Cava Mezze also offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, an excellent and fairly priced wine list, and a craft cocktail bar. You will find they are local favorite for casual dining with family and friends. Cava is open seven days a week with for lunch, brunch, or dinner.

Joselito Casa de Comida

660 Pennsylvania Ave SE, Washington DC

Joselito Casa de Comida serves up a menu of heart-felt traditional Spanish dishes crafted with care by Madrid born Chef David Sierra. Joselito’s passion for food and family are presented in a fresh and authentic family owned restaurant. They offer most dishes in three sizes – tapas (appetizer), media ración (entree) or ración (family style) for a personal dining experience. Try the five course Chef’s Tasting Menu with wine pairings for dinner or the ‘Menu del Dia’ at lunch. Joselito is conveniently located across the street from the Eastern Market Metro station and open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

Incredible freshness and flavor, thoughtfully crafted hand rolls, 17 years of experience, and a reasonably priced menu have earned Sushi Hachi a ‘best on Barracks Row’ rating. They have a set amount of fish flown in daily from around the globe and you can count on some options selling out. Add them to your list and experience the difference for yourself.
