A Gluten Free guide to the Best Pizza in DC

In a recent blog post we highlighted some of the best gluten-free restaurants in New York City, now it’s Washington DC’s turn. As we mentioned in that post, eating gluten free is important to Jeni and me because our 3-year-old daughter has to eat gluten-free. So we know, all too well, how challenging it can be to find a tasty yet affordable place that cooks from scratch. Every Wednesday, I take my daughter to dance class and we go have a “Date” afterwards. Every week when I ask her what she wants for dinner she excitedly yells PIZZA. Since this is a common allergy that effects so many it’s strange that travel sites haven’t kept up and embraced this niche market. Lucky for you all City Walker is working on a solution but we’ll talk about that in the future. Until we launch our solution to this problem, we have had some experience finding good gluten free pizza in our hometown of Washington DC.

Fortunately, they found a funky 1930′s gas station on Central Avenue and FUEL Pizza was born.
