Now that the joy of Christmas is over, we’ve visited family members and ate copious amounts of food it is time to prep for New Year’s Eve. Wonderland New Year’s Eve

Located in Pike Place Market at Can Can Kitchen & Cabaret, join the cast for one of their three live performances on December 31. The event is a combination of winter wonderland and cabaret with fresh local food from the market itself. The production includes trapeze artists, dancers, and a 4-course meal for those attending the two earlier shows. Come here for a night of entertainment, a champagne toast, and 2017 favors to ring in the new year!

 

Indulgence at the EMP

The Experience Music Project Museum is open for a massive party on New Year’s Eve. In this spacious 140,000 square foot venue enjoy a live bands, stand-up comedy and admission to the museum. The venue itself boasts the largest LED screens in the world, artifacts from famous musicians, and a room full of instruments for you and your friends to experiment with while ringing in the new year. The party has 25 bars and five different themed parties throughout the museum for you and your closest 2500 friends to enjoy.

 

Paint Dance Party at Gas Works Gallery

Looking for a casual evening to party and let your inner artist emerge? At Gas Works Gallery, this New Year’s Eve event combines artistry and dancing at its finest. A private party to be booked in advance, come here, dressed in attire to get painted up. A unique way to end 2016 by painting on yourself and others, this party encourages its guests to wear all white so the clothing acts as a canvas. A venue filled with dance music, champagne and party favors! Get your paintbrush ready to illustrate your way into the new year.

 

Seattle Symphony Classical Soul of Motown

The Seattle symphony presents an evening of funky music by Motown artists to groove you into the new year. The compilation of classic soul music, putting on your best dress, and a night at the theater is a composed way to celebrate the new year. The event begins at 9pm and is a 90-minute homage to Motown followed by a champagne toast with the performers and attendees. Come by Benaroya Hall to chill out to funky tunes. Can you dig it?

 

Optimism New Year’s Party

A great pick for the whole family! Optimism in Capitol Hill offers an impressive beer selection and a free event for New Year’s Eve 2016. This bar hosts an enormous taproom for you, your family and even your dog to come and celebrate. A wonderful way for you and the entire family to experience the first night of 2017. Optimism supplies a food truck, a photo booth and a free champagne beer for the midnight toast! A festive option for the whole family to attend.
